The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office, Cemeteries, Milwaukee Claims Office, Research Center, and Veterans Museum will be closed on February 15, 2010 as a designated furlough day for state employees.
The Wisconsin Veterans Homes at King and Union Grove will remain open as usual. Military Funeral Coordinators will also be available.
Information on all benefits, programs, and services are available as always on our website. Applications for some benefits and services can also be made via our secure server online as usual.

Presently, the Central Office and Milwaukee Claims Office will be closed on all of the furlough days listed. The Museum and Research Center and Cemeteries will be open on the Fridays before Memorial Day weekends and on Veterans Days. The Governor's Executive Order #285 is the directive to state agencies and the University of Wisconsin System
for the statewide furlough program.
